Still dropping...

Down 20 cents since Monday (4 days ago).

Down 22 to 24 cents since Monday.

Could it be? Could gas become cheaper than yarn???

Next question ... will we ever see gas under 2 bucks?

It was very interesting seeing all the comments in my last post. Such varying prices across the nation! California is not the place to go for cheap gas.

One more question ... what's the big deal about not allowing photos? After snapping one of the photos, one store worker told me that photos were not allowed. Perhaps they should put the sign inside the store. What is this world coming to when we can't even take photos while we're out and about...

Our's is now $1.96 at Wal-Mart. Keep comin' on down, I say. We leave on a trip next week, and I'm hoping it keeps dropping 'til then.

$2.41 - now that is a good price. The lowest I have heard of is $2.37 in Eastern NJ. IMHO, this is all about politics and greed. Lets see what happens after Election Day on Tuesday.

As far as photography, it seems everyone gets edgy and worried when they see a camera. Who knows if Costco or BJs actually have a policy about photography taken inside the stores.

By law you are allowed to take pictures of anything or anyone as long as you are on PUBLIC property and you are not harassing. But that is where is gets dicey. Most places (stores, malls, even parking lots) are actually on PRIVATE property. They can tell you to stop, but they cannot take you camera. If they do, they can get charged with criminal charges. I am working on a detailed blog entry about the fear that some amateur photographers experience when their enthusiasm is curbed like that. The sad thing is that next time they see news happening, they might be afraid to take a picture. DON'T BE! :)

Well that picture thing seems weird, especially given how many businesses are busily filming you and me on their security cameras....

We filled up before we left town yesterday for $1.87 per gallon. Had we taken time to go into Wal-Mart and purchase a gift/gas card first, the cost would have been $1.84 per gallon.

When we got to Dallas, a couple hours southwest of us, gas was mostly running around $2.20 per gallon. Usually they're cheaper than us, so I don't know what's up with that.

We plan to fill our tanks Monday night, in case election day affects the prices and causes them to hike.
